ORLANDO, Fla. — Restaurants and retail businesses in Florida have been slowly recovering since May 4, when Governor Ron DeSantis began “phase one” of the state’s reopening plan.
Naturally, construction never stopped on the I-4 Ultimate project; it was in fact hastened last month to meet a sooner deadline, taking advantage of lessened traffic.
Those days may soon be over as people get back on the roads, so in order to help you plan your route on I-4, here are the latest changes you should be aware of.

Ramps-
- Eastbound on ramp from EB Conroy Rd., closed May 10 at 10 p.m. until further notice:
- Eastbound on ramp from Colonial Dr., closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. until after May 11:
- Eastbound off ramp to South St., closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. until after May 13:
- Eastbound off ramp to Maitland Blvd., closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. until after May 12:
- Westbound on ramp from Orange Blossom Trl., closed May 11 at 5 a.m. until further notice.
- Westbound off ramp to Fairbanks Ave., closed until further notice:
- Westbound on ramp from Fairbanks Ave., closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. until after May 11:

- One right lane on WB SR-434 from Raymond Ave., closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. until after May 15.
- Two left lanes on both directions of SR-436 over I-4, closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. until after May 12.
- Two left lanes on NB Garland Ave. from Washington St. to Amelia St., closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. until after May 11.

- Eastbound sidewalk on Parramore Ave., closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. until after February 2, 2021.
I-4 Westbound lanes-
- Two right lanes from Colonial Dr. to Sand Lake Rd., closed from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. until after May 16.
- Two right lanes from SR-434 to Orange Blossom Trl., closed from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. until after May 16.
- Two right lanes from E. E. Williamson Rd. to Colonial Dr., closed from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. until after May 16.
