LOS ANGELES, CA — Tesla and Space-X CEO Elon Musk smoked marijuana while appearing on a recent episode of The Joe Rogan podcast.
It came towards the end of a two and a half hour interview, after Rogan took out a blunt. Musk took one puff and responded, “it’s legal right?”
The embattled CEO did admit to using ambien, but said he doesn’t use marijuana on a regular basis because it’s bad for productivity.
He also showed off his company’s flame throwers, which are now for sale.
Musk has been embroiled in controversy recently, after calling a Thai cave rescuer a “pedophile,” and saying that he was going to take Tesla public on Twitter.
Tesla stocks dropped following the appearance.
