CENTRAL FLA. — Saturday featured scattered rain and storms across the area, and more activity is likely to close out the weekend.
The scattered showers and storms will end this evening, with some coastal activity again possible towards daybreak. Morning lows will be in the low 70s.
The upper-level low in the Gulf will continue to push moisture back into the region on Sunday. Expect scattered PM rain and storms, with highs in the low 90s.
Even deeper tropical moisture moves in to start next week. Monday and Tuesday will feature elevated chances of rain and storms, with temperatures in the upper 80s and low 90s.
Drier air begins to slowly work its way into the region by the middle of next week, reducing coverage of rain and storms. Highs on Wednesday and Thursday will be in the upper 80s and low 90s.
It now looks like even more dry air will push in to close out next week, reducing rain chances further and bringing less humidity into the area.
