A fight ends with the death of local DJ "Disco JR" and the arrest of suspect Gavin Brown at the Tier nightclub on East Central Boulevard in Orlando last night.
"RIP to a yung king! Cray" wrote one person in reply to the victim's last tweet.
Brown and Jerry Smith were fighting when Smith was stabbed in the abdomen, according to Orlando Police.
As paramedics were treating the victim, he was "going in and out of consciousness and was unable to answer any of our questions," according to the arrest affidavit.
The club was cleared and several witnesses questioned.
A police officer working at the club as security said he was outside the club when Smith "came staggering out and fell in his direction."
A knife was later found in the club and turned over to police.
Brown is charged with aggravated battery, but homicide charges are pending.
