Orlando man charged with making a school threat on Snapchat

Orlando, Fla. — An Orlando man is charged with sending a written threat to conduct a mass shooting, after troopers say he posted a photo of him holding an AR-15 on Snapchat with the caption, “Some of you are alright. Don’t go to school tomorrow.”

No specific school was mentioned, but the post caught the eye of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) Terrorism Task Force, who then notified the Florida State Patrol.

Troopers arrested 25-year-old Max Wolfgang at his Orange County home, Sunday.

The arrest report says the gun belongs to Wolfgang’s father.

He reportedly told investigators the photo was a joke and he wishes he never posted it.
