Orlando International Airport reports slight uptick in passengers

Orlando, Fla — Orlando International Airport  officials report more than 10,000 travelers departing from the airport on Thursday, the highest number seen since March

O-I-A would typically see around 67,000 passengers on that day.

Assistant Director of Public Affairs with the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority Rod Johnson said airport officials have seen a slight uptick in passenger numbers over the past two weeks.

Airline travel plunged roughly 97% since the start of the Coronavirus pandemic

The TSA said airports across the country had 391,000 travelers on June 4 vs a typical June day of 2,623,900 travelers.
