Orlando company does clinical trials for a COVID-19 preventative medication

May 4, 2020 — CNS Healthcare is located in Orlando, was chosen as the only location in Florida to do clinical trials for a new preventative medication for COVID-19.  The goal is to help frontline workers and first responders who are at risk.  Dr. Patricia Brown said, "They are looking to develop medication that the people can take to prevent the virus from developing into a disease state in the person.  So even if they get exposed to it, they won't develop the virus."  They are looking for participants in the study, and participants will be compensated.  She said, "The only way we can get medicine to market in the United States is through this clinical trial process."  This groundbreaking research can be a game changer in the fight against COVID-19.  If you know a healthcare worker or first responder who would be interested in being a part of getting this medication on the market, reach out to CNS to learn more.
