ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando police are investigating the robbery and shooting of a man at a hotel near the city’s busy tourist district.
Investigators say the victim was standing outside of a room at the Super 8 motel on American Way last night when someone robbed him of his cell phone and shot him.
Early Tuesday, O.P.D. tweeted out a picture from surveillance video of a man seen outside the hotel near the time of the robbery.

The victim was hospitalized overnight with non-life threatening injuries.
