OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — A missing 16-year-old from Osceola County traveled to Nebraska after leaving his truck in Atlanta, the Sheriff’s Office said Monday.
Investigators believe Levi James Conner is now in Ralston, Nebraska. The agency has contacted law enforcement there to help locate him.
The development comes after Conner’s truck was found abandoned in Atlanta on Oct. 23, prompting an appeal for help finding the teen.
Detectives believe Conner ran away and boarded a Greyhound bus bound for Nebraska after leaving the vehicle, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Conner left his home in the St. Cloud area around midnight Oct. 23, according to a missing-child flyer. Atlanta police found his gray 2019 Ford F-150 near Lakewood Avenue and Lakewood Raceway around 7:05 p.m. that day.
Conner is described as 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing about 110 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black skullcap, blue hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.
The Sheriff’s Office has not announced that Conner has been located.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts should call the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office at 407-348-2222.
