Miami doctor attacks, trashes Uber driver's car after she is refused a ride

A Miami doctor has been placed on administrative leave and could face termination after a video surfaced of her attacking an Uber driver that refused to give her a ride and then trashes his car.

According to Chron.com, Anjali Ramkissoon, a fourth-year neurology resident with Jackson Health System at the University of Miami, got into an Uber that she did not request and when the driver asked her to leave, she became enraged and belligerent. The video shows Ramkissoon trying to slap the male driver in the face and kicking him in the groin after he asks witnesses to call 911.

The Daily Mail reports that the video was taken by  Juan Cinco, the man that called for the Uber ride on Sunday night and says that Ramkissoon came 'out of nowhere,' climbed into the backseat of the Uber, and wouldn't leave. That's when things escalated into a physical altercation.

Ramkissoon is seen getting back into the car and throwing the Uber driver's belongings out onto the street while cursing at him. She finally gets out and walks away.

In his video description on YouTube, Cinco says Ramkissoon tried kicking the police that handcuff her after she attempts to get away in a taxi. The video has already racked up more than 1 million hits.

The Miami Herald reports that Ramkissoon has now been 'removed from all clinical duties' and that her employer has launched an investigation into the incident. Her rider account with Uber has also been suspended.
