Marlins star Giancarlo Stanton posts selfies of damaged face

Miami Marlins' outfielder Giancarlo Stanton was drilled in the face by a fastball Thursday during a game against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Stanton suffered multiple facial fractures, a severe laceration, and broken teeth that became embedded in his cheek.

He was taken off the field semiconscious and bloody by ambulance.

Tuesday he posted these selfies to his instagram.  Staton who likely will miss the rest of the season, was a front runner for National League MVP.
