"Freaky Fresh. Freaky Fast." That's the Jimmy John's slogan this delivery worker was trying to uphold---no matter what it takes.
Crazy video taken by a driver waiting at a railroad crossing in San Marco shows who is believed to be a Jimmy John's sandwich employee hopping over a moving train with his bike in hand to get to the other side!
According to News4Jax, Elizabeth Scott, who owns several of the sandwich locations in Jacksonville, says they do want their employees to deliver the food as quickly as possible...as long as it is safe and legal.
"All of our delivery employees are expected to obey all traffic laws and make all deliveries in a safe, timely manner for themselves, as well as for other people on the road."
The worker, who has not been identified, is seen approaching the moving train. He then throws his delivery bike over his shoulder, hops on the train and rides it for several feet before jumping off on the other side.
"We do not condone that type of delivery method. We expect all of our drivers and delivery employees to follow all traffic laws and in this case, railroad crossing laws," said Scott.
Scott tells News4Jax that she will be investigating and advising other employees that jumping over trains is not the way to deliver food.
