It’s April 30, which means as soon as you open your Facebook newsfeed, it’s going to be filled with memes of singer Justin Timberlake with the caption ‘It’s Gonna Be May!’
Now unless you have heard the song ‘It’s Gonna Be Me’ by Timberlake’s former boy band N’Sync, you probably have no idea what this means or how it came to be.
We’re here to help you.
According to E! News, back in 2012, a Tumblr user posted a picture of a calendar on April 30 featuring Timberlake smiling quite creepily. The user captioned it: 'It's Gonna Be May' as a nod to the way Timberlake says the word 'me' in the hit song.
The meme spread on the internet and now there are all sorts of versions out there.

Timberlake says he can’t take credit for the popularity of the meme. He tells the London radio station Capital FM that songwriter Max Martin made him sing ‘me’ that way.
“I think he just wanted me to sound like I was from Tennessee.”
So be prepared for the floodgates to open today. (Timberlake will be performing at the Amway Center in Orlando on May 14.)
