Giant excavator used to save tiny, stuck baby deer

When Bill Davis heard the alarm go off at a plot of land he was working on, he went out to see who could be messing with his equipment.

He was left surprised, however, when he found not troublemakers or criminals but instead a couple of young deer.

The two babes had stumbled onto his property and become stuck in the heavy mud and dirt of tilled land.

With exceptional skill, an excavator operator gently scoops up one of the deer, along with a good amount of the dirt around it.

Thankfully, the quick-thinking Davis and a coworker knew that they had the equipment on hand to save the little deer’s lives.

Moving slowly, he spins the bucket around and empties the load gradually onto the ground.

"Run baby, run!" Davis can be heard cheer behind the camera.

Slightly dazed but unharmed, the teeny deer trots off into the woods free of the mountain of muck.
