Photoshop sure can be sneaky.
A fake photo appearing to show a vicious shark just seconds away from attacking two stranded motorists in flooded waters has gone viral.
The Inquisitr reports that the photo was first shared on Facebook by Bill Tennison who says he got the story from CNN.
"This flooded Missouri highway was the scene of a horrific shark attack," Tennison claims in the caption. "Just another reason to not drive through roads that are under water."
He then adds that the 'victims' were the recent recipients of $4.5 million from Mark Zuckerberg, another hoax that had many Facebook users fooled.
In the photo, two men are standing by a car that has been stalled on a flooded street and are completely oblivious to the huge shark with its jaws wide open ready to attack. Further examination of the picture shows that the water only goes up to one of the man's knees, indicating that the water is only a few feet deep.
Also, a license plate on the blue car appears to be a foreign plate, which would mean this photo wasn't actually taken in Missouri like the post claims.
Most social media users seemed to catch on pretty quick that the entire photo was a hoax but others didn't and began to share the photo, warning others to not drive in flooded waters to avoid being victims of a shark attack.
