Sanford, Fla. — Its always nice to get a free drink and make a new friend out of it in the process. Well, police in Sanford want you to do just that with them at the Soda Pop With a Cop event next Friday.
On March 15, Sanford police are inviting anyone to stop by on their lunch break and enjoy a free small soft drink with them as a way to get to know your local police officers.
The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McDonalds on 150 Hickman Drive in Sanford.
This event, along with similar ones have been held in the past and have been seen as a great way to build community trust.
