Students at Boone High School in Orange County were placed on a brief lockdown Tuesday after someone reported an armed "creepy clown" across from the school at Wadeview Park.
The lockdown has since been lifted.
Principal Dusty Johns sent a voicemail to parents saying the clown "allegedly showed students a weapon." Officers were unable to locate anyone after they arrived at the school.
The school said Orlando Police are investigating the report and that all students are safe.
