Two people are dead in what appears to be a murder-suicide in south Orange County, according to deputies.
The shooting happened outside Meadow Woods condominium complex on Villa del Sol Circle. When deputies arrived they said they found two bodies in a stairwell around 8:30 am.
Investigators said the deaths are believed to be the result of a murder-suicide, involving a man and woman, both in their early 30s.
Investigators said it appears to be a husband and wife with four children.
Neighbors said they heard people yelling, but didn’t think it was anything to worry about.
“I couldn’t put the words together, but it didn’t sound like anything that would be something serious,” said a neighbor.
Officers said a white van in the parking lot is also part of the investigation, but would not say why.
The names have not yet been released. The investigation is still ongoing.
