Guests now have a clearer view of one new attraction and a big refurbishment after the construction walls came down in front of Universal Orlando’s new Jurassic World Velocicoaster at Islands of Adventure and around Spaceship Earth at Walt Disney Worlds entrance to EPCOT.
We are still waiting for the official opening date for the Intamin launch coaster from Universal, but for now, fans are enjoying the view of the new ride and sharing the photos on social media.
Meanwhile, at Walt Disney World, crews removed final construction walls from in front of EPCOT’s Spaceship Earth according to a report from blogmickey.com.
Guests were welcomed to the park Tuesday, with a glistening view of the giant orb which will be used as a backdrop for the new nighttime lighting as part of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” in honor of the parks 50th anniversary.
Walt Disney World News Today says that while the lighting display will be introduced as part of the anniversary celebration, the nighttime look will become permanent at EPCOT.
Disney filed permits for the lighting display earlier this month.
