COVINGTON, KY — CNN has settled with Covington Catholic student Nick Sandmann after he sued the network for $275 million on defamation and emotional stress charges.
The lawsuit involves a video that went viral showing a group of Covington Catholic students interacting with a Native American man at Indigenous Peoples March in 2019.
Sandmann had also filed a lawsuit against NBC Universal & the Washington Post.
It’s unclear how much the settlement is for.
