According to a new poll by Payless Power, the majority of Americans think the federal government will ultimately ban the sale of new natural gas stoves.
More than 3-in-4 respondents predicted that the independent Consumer Product Safety Commission will institute a ban on the stoves at some future date.
Some studies show the emissions cause health conditions like cancer and respiratory issues.
Roughly 40 percent of Americans use gas stoves.
