One of three zebras who escaped from a Maryland farm this week has been found dead - caught in an illegal snare trap.
Police announced Thursday that the animal had been found nearly a month ago near a field in Upper Marlboro. Officers are still investigating who set the illegal trap.
The three zebras have been spotted on the loose for several weeks - running through woods and across roads throughout Prince George’s County. Two of the zebras are still on the loose.
