A crane toppled Wednesday morning on the Division Avenue ramp onto State Road 408, Florida Department of Transportation officials said.
Police said no one was hurt and that ramp closures were already anticipated for the area.
News 96.5 WDBO reporter Darrell Moody was the first reporter at the scene this morning in the pre-dawn hours.
Power in the area was knocked out briefly.
Road closures are expected later Wednesday to upright the crane.
The area has been under construction for the I-4 Ultimate project.
No other details were released.
