A dedicated member of the Orlando Health AirCare Team was nominated for First Responder Friday, but chose to share the recognition with his entire team of hard working heroes.
He remarked, “Thank you very much for the opportunity to participate in First Responder Friday. I truly appreciate the recognition from you and your team, as well as the nomination I received.
After giving it some thought, I would prefer not to be individually recognized. Instead, I would be honored if the entire Orlando Health AirCare Team was recognized in my place.
The work we do is very much a team effort, and I would rather not be singled out when so many people contribute every day. Having the opportunity to give my team the recognition they deserve would mean a great deal to me."
As a small way of saying thanks for all they do for the community, they will receive a $100 gift card to the Metro Diner.
