SpaceX called off Friday’s scheduled launch of their 13th Starlink mission with no new time or date set just yet.
This is the second scrub for the Falcon 9 which will eventually carry 60 more Starlink satellites into orbit.
Thursday (Sept 17) the team called off the launch 15 minutes prior to lift-off due to a “recovery issue” related to the mission’s Falcon 9 rocket.
Today they blamed poor weather conditions at the rocket’s landing drone ship “Just Read The Instructions” in the Atlantic Ocean.
They say the rough conditions could persist for several days.
Standing down from tomorrow’s launch of Starlink due to severe weather in the recovery area, which is likely to persist for a couple days. Will announce a new target launch date once confirmed

In the meantime, United Launch Alliance has finally set another time and date to try again to launch its Delta IV Heavy.
The giant rocket is set to lift-off from Kennedy Space Center on September 26.
The window opens at 12:01 am and closes at 1:35 am.
The #DeltaIVHeavy #NROL44 launch for @NatReconOfc is planned for Sept. 26. The launch period is 12:01-1:35amEDT. The team has reviewed all data and ground support equipment and determined that a ground system regulator internal component failure was the cause of the on-pad abort. pic.twitter.com/VdoMyY7tLH

A problem with a ground system regulator caused a dramatic Hot Fire Abort at T-3 seconds to lift-off on August 29.

Since then, crews have replaced all three regulators on the massive rocket which will carry a U.S. spy satellite mission dubbed NROL-44 into orbit.
WDBO will carry the launch live when it happens or you can watch it as it happens on the WDBO Facebook page.
