SpaceX certainly had their hands full in 2020, and they are hoping to continue their projected path to success in 2021.
On Monday, the company plans to launch its 17th Starlink mission, which will also be the first Starlink mission of the new year. With roughly 1,000 satellites already in orbit, 60 more will join them with the ultimate goal of providing broadband internet coverage across the world.
Just last week, the company already kicked off the new year with its launch of a Turkish communications satellite to assist with telecommunication services over Turkey and its nearby countries. Monday’s launch from the Kennedy Space Center is scheduled for 8:45 a.m. Be sure to tune into WDBO that day for live team coverage.
