Here is the list of upcoming rocket launches from the Space Coast

Cape Canaveral, Fla. — December could turn into yet another busy month for our Space Coast with more rocket launches scheduled to take place.

Looking ahead, Space X plans to launch a Falcon 9 rocket on December 5th at 11:39 a.m. for a resupply mission to the International Space Station. This will mark the first time that SpaceX will fly their updated Cargo Dragon capsule, which is identical to the one used for the move recent manned launch on November 15th.

Another planned launch sometime in December from Space X will be for their NROL-108 mission. During this launch, a secret intelligence gathering satellite will be launched onboard a Falcon 9 for the National Reconnaissance Office. There is no word yet if this will take place before or after the resupply mission launch.

Two other planned launches with no confirmation dates yet include Turkey’s first domestically built communications satellite known at the Turksat 5A, and the United Launch Alliance’s Delta IV Heavy launch with its own satellite for the National Reconnaissance Office. It is also not yet known if Space X will attempt another Starlink mission during the month of December. Be sure to check back for updates on WDBO.
