In what sounds like a plot from an episode of “Law and Order: SVU,” the body of a man has been discovered in Staten Island with the words, “I touch little girls” scrawled across his chest.
The body of the unidentified man, who was 80 years old, was discovered Monday morning in the first floor hallway of an apartment building in the New York borough, police say.
The message on his shirtless chest had been written in black ink, according to the NYPD. Although his cause of death is pending the results of an autopsy, responding officers say he appeared to have been beaten.
In looking over the body, investigators discovered two more messages: “I take dolls in my room for girls age 1 - 5” on his stomach, and “I touch” on his right foot, a police report reveals.
Police say the man had no history of committing sex crimes and is not listed in the state’s sex offender registry.
