Almost 300 high school graduates in Florida have been ordered to quarantine for two weeks after a student attending graduation tested positive for COVID-19.
The Bayside High School seniors graduated last week in an outdoor ceremony where everyone -- including the graduates and their families -- were required to wear masks, school officials say.
The officials handing out diplomas even wore gloves, they say.
After learning that one of the students had tested positive, the Florida Department of Health issued an order directing the students, their families and everyone else in attendance to “quarantine at home for 14 days from their last day of attendance at the facility.”
