A 100 year-old World War II veterans from Virginia survived COVID-19 and was discharged from the hospital after 58 days.
Lloyd Falk was admitted to Henrico Doctors’ Hospital in Richmond on March 24 and was one of the hospital’s first coronavirus patients.
FOX6 News reports health care workers cheered and applauded Falk on the day he was discharged, with the hospital CEO presenting him with a WWII veteran cap to wear through the halls.
