ORLANDO, Fla. — Local theme parks made schedule changes as Hurricane Nicole approached.

On the tail end of the storm’s impact on Central Florida, attractions are making plans to get back to normal once it’s safe to welcome back guests.

See a breakdown of updates to Florida theme parks below:

WALT DISNEY WORLD

• Magic Kingdom Park: Reopens Thursday, Nov. 10, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. for regular guests. The park will reopen for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party from 7 p.m. to midnight.
• Disney’s Animal Kingdom: Reopens Thursday, Nov. 10, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
• EPCOT: Reopens Thursday, Nov. 10, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
• Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Reopens Thursday, Nov. 10, from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Fantasmic! will not be presented on Thursday.

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, Winter Summerland Miniature Golf, Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf will remain closed on Thursday, Nov. 10. Blizzard Beach is already closed for the season.

UNIVERSAL ORLANDO RESORT

Volcano Bay will remain closed Thursday due to Tropical Storm Nicole.

In a statement on social media, Universal Orlando Resort said, “We are completing post storm assessments across our resort, keeping safety in mind, and we will share today’s specific phased reopening plans soon.”

• Aquatica Orlando: Reopens Friday, Nov. 11, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• SeaWorld Orlando: Reopens Friday, Nov. 11, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER VISITOR COMPLEX

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will remain closed on Thursday, Nov. 10.

It is expected to reopen on Friday, Nov. 11 at 9 a.m.

Gatorland

Gatorland will reopen on Friday, Nov. 11 at 10 a.m.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will reopen on Friday, Nov. 11 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
