Thousands of people show up to Buc-ee’s grand opening in Daytona Beach

The Texas chain Buc-ee’s opened its second Florida location in Daytona Beach on Monday, and thousands of people showed up.

The location is open near the intersection of Interstate 95 and LPGA Boulevard. It has 104 gas pumps and a 53,000 square foot store.

Buc-ee’s is known for having thousands of options for food, snacks, candy and sweets. Food options include BBQ, fudge, Beaver nuggets, jerky, and kolaches. The store sells tons of Florida-themed clothes and home décor.

Governor Ron DeSantis showed up at the grand opening calling Buc-ee’s the “Shangri-La of service stations.”
