Save Rufus the dog

An Orange County family is desperately trying to keep it's one year old dog from being put down, even though county animal services says it has no choice.

Rufus the beagle is set to be euthanized soon because he bit the four year old child he lived with. The boy needed stitches.

Hundreds of Facebook posts are expressing support for the family, but animal services says under state law, since Rufus severely bit a young child, he must be destroyed.
