PICTURES: Semi-truck carrying eggs crashes, catches fire on I-4

Traffic continues to build on I-4 East near the exit to Anderson Street beneath the S.R 408 interchange.

Orlando, Fla. — It’s a messy scene on Interstate 4 in Downtown Orlando.

Orlando Police say an overturned tractor-trailer that caught fire has shut down all eastbound traffic on I-4 at State Road 408.

The fires has since been extinguished and the semi-truck driver is reportedly conscious and talking after being pulled from the wreckage.

Traffic continues to build on I-4 East near the exit to Anderson Street beneath the S.R 408 interchange.

The Orlando Fire Department says the truck was carrying eggs.

Crews are working to contain fuel from the vehicle.
