Orlando, Fla. — Orange County is celebrating local restaurants and their employees on the 2nd annual ‘407 Day.’
Mayor Jerry Demings is encouraging residents to dine inside or order takeout to help support the local food scene during the pandemic.
Supporters are being encouraged post restaurant recommendations and pictures online using the hashtag #407.
Reporter Katrina Scales took a stroll around Orlando’s College Park and Ivanhoe Village neighborhoods to chat with local business owners and customers.

Santiago’s comfortable front porch was full of happy diners this 407 Day, including one customer I spoke with who was enjoying a bottle of champagne and a extravagant cheese platter.
“You can sit down, like my friend and I often do, and we usually end up spending five hours here,” she laughed.
Take advantage of their full bar cocktail menu until 2 a.m.
The Greek Corner
With more than a dozen Greek restaurants to choose from in Orlando, this Ivanhoe Village staple has been serving dependable, authentic Greek food for nearly 16 years.
