The Orange County Sheriff’s Office will be providing 400 families with Thanksgiving meals on Saturday, November 21.

The Sheriff’s Office said they’ll give 400 frozen turkeys and “all the Thanksgiving fixings” at 10 a.m. at their headquarters at 2500 W. Colonial Drive (use the entrance on John Young Parkway.)

The distribution will be drive-up only, and supplies will be given out on a first come, first served basis.

“We know there are people in our community who are hurting because of the pandemic,” said Sheriff John Mina. “There are people out of jobs. So this is something we’re absolutely thrilled to do.”

Sheriff Mina suggests arriving early because in past food giveaways, there have been some lines.
