Orlando, Fla. — On Monday night, 20-year-old Chloe Hogan brought the house down with her performance of “Weak” by SWV on NBC’s The Voice.

She didn’t win the night’s knockout round but she did score a new voice coach: John Legend.

After her performance, judge John Legend used his only opportunity to “steal” Hogan from Gwen Stefani so that he could be her new coach.

WDBO’s Katrina Scales spoke with Chloe Hogan about the moment and the major performance coming up that could make or break her singing career on The Voice.

To vote in the Live Playoffs on Monday, Nov. 30 at 8p.m. you’ll need to create an account on NBC.com.

After making an account, go to The Voice Vote page where you can vote for a contestant up to 10 times.

Hogan is a graduate of Dr. Phillips High School and is attending Belmont University studying music business.

The 20-year-old is also teaching Black Music in America to kids online as a way to give back and empower a new generation of musicians.
