Lime to teach course ahead of electric scooter launch in Orlando

Orlando, Fla. — Transportation company Lime is all set to host its first electric scooter safety course before rolling out 200 scooters on Orlando streets.

The course will teach riders the basics of scooter safety and responsible parking.

Once the 200 scooters are ready to roll, riders will have access to the scooters through the Lime app. Scooters cost $1 to unlock and are $0.29 per minute to ride

Those that would like to sign up for the course can click here. Training takes place at 11:30 a.m. at the Geico Parking Garage on 400 West South Street.

Riders must be 18 years or older to participate.
