Central Florida — If your wondering when the Florida’s warm temperatures will return, just look ahead to the weekend.
For now, the mercury will continue to drop as a cold front moves through Central Florida.
That means jackets are necessary today.
The morning begins with a cool start with many areas dropping into the 30s according to WFTV Channel 9 Meterologist Rusty McCranie.
30s and 40s across Central Florida this morning, and temps will continue to fall until 7am. There will be some areas of frost, many north and west of metro Orlando. Make sure the family is bundled up when they head out today, as highs will struggle to reach 60 degrees. pic.twitter.com/EUnAlHcsKH

Areas of frost are possible in areas North and West of metro Orlando.
Despite plenty of sunshine, it will be a very cool afternoon, highs just near 60 degrees.
While the beach is always open, Central Florida water parks will be closed for a second day due to the cold weather.
