On Wednesday, Governor Ron DeSantis announced more Florida Publix pharmacies are offering the COVID-19 vaccine to seniors who are 65 and older.
The program is now being extended to select Publix stores (56 total) in Volusia, Flagler, St. Johns and Collier counties. Appointments are expected to fill up quickly, but Governor DeSantis says more will become available.
“Once they’re out of appointments, that’s just out of appointments for whatever shipment they’re getting,” DeSantis said. “They’re going to be opening them up to do more in the future.”
