FLORIDA VOTES: Your guide to the 2020 general election

Orlando, Fla. — Early voting is officially underway across Central Florida and there are some differences between counties that voters need to be aware of.

In Orange and Osceola counties, polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. now through Nov. 1.

However, in Seminole and Volusia counties voting will take place daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. also through Nov. 1.

In Brevard County, ten sites will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends through Oct. 31.

What should I bring?

  • Proof of Identity: Voters will need some form of photo ID regardless of where they choose to cast their ballot.
  • Have a Mask: Many elections officials are also asking people to wear face coverings.
  • Check the Radar: Have an umbrella or rain jacket on hand in case it starts raining while you’re in line.
  • Mail-in Ballot Exchange: Did you request a mail-in ballot? Make sure to bring it with you to either put it to the drop-off box or exchange it by trading it in for an in-person ballot.
