ORLANDO, Fla. — After less than a week in effect, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer will suspend his 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. curfew for the downtown area tonight; the 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. curfew still remains for Orlando and the rest of unincorporated Orange County “until further notice.”
Starting tomorrow, June 7, I am lifting the 8 p.m. curfew in the Downtown Orlando area. The citywide curfew of 10 p.m. is still in effect.

The Orlando Police Department claims 10,000 people peacefully protested yesterday and that none of them were arrested, all before severe weather tore through the city and broke up demonstrations.
An estimated 10,000 peacefully protested yesterday in the @citybeautiful and we made ZERO arrests. Our city also endured a tornado. Thank you to everyone who demonstrated how Orlando unites. pic.twitter.com/QkS6my1Dw3
