Curfews that are in effect across Central Florida due to Dorian

As parts of Central Florida continue to brace for Hurricane Dorian, there are curfews that have been activated.

Here they are:

Osceola County

This curfew is county wide and lasts from 11 pm Tuesday to 6 am Wednesday.

Volusia County

This emergency curfew applies to cities and unincorporated areas that are east of the Halifax River. It lasts from 6 pm Tuesday to 6 am Thursday.

As of right now, there are no curfews for Orange and Seminole Counties, but depending on weather conditions, that may change.

Local leaders want to remind everyone that disobeying a curfew is a second degree misdemeanor and that you can be arrested or face a fine if your are stopped. The only ones who are exempt are medical personnel and members of the media, but you must show a proper ID if you are stopped by police.
