Bahamas hurricane relief efforts in place once Dorian leaves Florida

Orlando, Fla. — As Hurricane Dorian continues along its destructive path through the Bahamas on its way to Florida, one company has a plan in place once the storm passes to provide what will be much needed relief efforts to the folks on the islands.

MySky Aviation Solutions will coordinate the efforts powered by Boomerang Air Charter and TRYP Air Charter. Once they get the all clear, supplies like water, hygiene products, batteries, and non perishable foods will be placed on a Pilatus PC12 and Beechcraft Baron 58 plane and will be sent to the islands. The flights will be launched from Orlando Executive Airport, Daytona Beach Airport, and Saint Augustine Airport.

Even if the damage is extensive, they have an alternative plan. They will land at a nearby location and then deliver the items via ships from the ports to the people in need.

The company has set up a Go Fund Me page for anyone who would like to donate so they can purchase the supplies to be carried over. You can donate here:

Also, if you would prefer to drop off supplies, it can be done at the following locations:

-Atlantic Aviation at the Northeast Florida Regional Airport

- Sheltair Aviation at the Daytona Beach International Airport

- Sheltair Aviation at the Orlando Executive Airport.
