As a precaution, Florida Highway Patrol troopers blocked several on and off ramps to I-4 on the protest route, but no arrests nor any excessive use of police force was reported Saturday.
Today, protesters arranged their daily gathering in front of Orlando City Hall at 4 p.m., though their heavy social media presence suggests that it’s already begun.
Saturday night, around 40 people reportedly held a sit-in protest there, hoisting a sheet at the doors to screen a documentary; one person who stayed until the morning tweeted a picture of the sunrise as seen from downtown Orlando:

On Monday, a City Council meeting is scheduled for 2 p.m.
The meeting will be held online; City Hall, the usual locale, remains closed due to COVID-19.
Whether or not Monday's anticipated protest will be larger in response to the meeting is unconfirmed, but the city suggests that on-topic comments be addressed electronically in this online form.
