Orlando, Fla. — The University of Central Florida announced in person graduation ceremonies for it’s spring 2021 graduates.
In a tweet Tuesday, officials said graduates will have the option to participate in a ‘grad walk’ or commencement ceremony.
Commencement ceremonies will be held between May 5 and 9 at Addition Financial Arena.
Each graduate can have two guests in attendance, a keynote speaker will be at each ceremony and social distancing guidelines will be put in place.
The “grad walk” experience will take place from April 30 to May 4.
Students will select a 15-minute time slot, music will play as graduates walk across the stage to hear their name as they receive their diploma.
Graduates can have up to five guests at this event.
Everyone at the ceremony must wear a mask and the ceremonies will be streamed online.
