An off-duty female cop in New York City is facing a murder charge after she reportedly shot two women, killing one.
The shooting occurred Wednesday when the unidentified officer found her girlfriend with another woman, according to the NYPD. The cop’s girlfriend, 24, died from her injuries, while the other woman, 23, is recovering in a local hospital, according to Assistant Police Chief Michael M. Kemper.
“Simply put, she confessed,” Kemper says of the officer. Her exact charges have not yet been revealed.
