Central Florida school districts working to avoid spread of coronavirus

School districts across the state are using a variety of safety protocols and measures to keep students and staff from spreading the coronavirus, but most are using dashboard-type websites to disseminate COVID-19 data to parents and families.

Just this week, both Orange County Public Schools launched a dashboard where parents can track the latest COVID-19 data for their respective school districts. Seminole County Public Schools launched its own dashboard this week as well.

Osceola County is updating parents weekly.

Lake County Schools has since followed suit, publishing a dashboard online. Brevard Public Schools is updating its dashboard twice a week. Volusia County Schools has a dashboard, too.

The University of Central Florida also started testing students this week.
