Multiple crashes cause delays along I-4 in Central Florida

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Two separate crashes on I-4 caused major traffic delays for commuters Tuesday morning.

Weather alert day: Widespread rain moves through Central Florida

I-4 near SR-535 eastbound

Troopers say a single semi heading east on I-4 jackknifed near SR-535 just after 5 a.m.

Several lanes of I-4 eastbound were blocked while crews worked to clear the crash.

Troopers say there were no injuries reported.

I-4 and Epcot Center Drive

According to FHP two cars heading east on I-4 near Epcot Center Drive were involved in a minor collision around 5:30 a.m.

Two lanes of I-4 were blocked as fire crews treated patients for minor injuries.

Although it was raining at the time of both crashes, troopers have not said if weather was a factor in either crash.

Both crashes remain under investigation
