BBC apologizes for on-air f-bomb after Olympic cycling crash

What a way to wake up! British viewers watching the Olympics on early Tuesday morning got to hear a certain curse word uttered after a crash during a cycling event.

The crash between Britain and Denmark resulted in Denmark’s Frederik Madsen saying, “f— them.”

One BBC commentator said, “Excuse that language at that early hour of the morning – but that is why it always pays to look where they’re going.”

Madsen was blamed by fellow cyclist Chris Hoy for not paying attention on the track.

Madsen and Denmark, however, will race against Italy on Wednesday in pursuit of a gold medal.
